Discover Dave Baranes

Behind the artistic direction of this exhibition

A self-taught painter, Dave Baranes is passionate about graffiti and Street-Art.

The backgrounds of his canvases are worked with trompe-l'oeil techniques, a clever mix of aerosols and acrylic for the creation of graffiti: to the “Old School” treatise that Dave is particularly fond of.

In this ultra-urbanized setting, the more realistic animals illustrate the chaos of this world by questioning us about the impact of humans in our environment.
